Check how good your bed & pillows are (sometimes feather comforters/pillows can cause reactions)
Check with a chiropractor to make sure your back is aligned correctly.
Make sure your bedroom is completely dark when you sleep – the lights that gleam from alarm clocks, computers, etc can affect your sleep.
Temperature of your room – a cooler room will aid in better sleep (about 65 degrees) and an extra comforter can help if you get too cold.
Unfortunately, alcohol before bedtime will lower the quality of your sleep cycle.
A warm bath and something non-stimulatory before bed can help aid in better quality of sleep.
Breathing techniques – inhale for 2 counts and exhale for 5 counts – this not only calms the mind before you go to bed, but it shifts your neurological system.
